Terms and Conditions of Booking:
The Chapel seats 42 people internally, venue hire includes chairs for internal only. Bi-folding doors on the Broadwater side of the Chapel open onto a large deck providing seating or standing space for more guests. Seating on the deck area is not included in the rental of the Chapel and should be arranged individually with a rental company of your choice.
No food or beverage is permitted in the chapel or on the deck other than bottled water.
Please note Confetti is not allowed in the Chapel or its surrounds – an environmentally friendly alternative is dried rose petals.
Parking is available adjacent to the Chapel.
Public toilets and a catering area are next door in the Council Parklands. Bookings for the public catering area can be made through the Gold Coast City Council Parklands management.
All chapel hire bookings are subject to approval from the Gold Coast City Council Broadwater Parklands Division, to ensure there are no conflicting events taking place in the area on the date requested. Once approval is gained and payment verified, the chapel administrator will confirm your booking via email.
Rotary Chapel reserves its right to cancel a booking for any reason.
Rates
Booking slots and rates are for 2.5 hour time slots per booking unless otherwise listed. This includes set up and pack down of your event.
Payment in full will be required upon acceptance of your booking. Bookings are not confirmed, that is, the date and time of your booking will not be blocked out on the booking calendar until payment is received and cleared.
Refunds
A refund of the booking fee less an administrative fee of $100 is made if a booking is cancelled at least 30 days prior to the event date.
A 50 % refund is made for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the event date.
Extra Time Booking
If you require longer than the appointed 2.5 hours, additional time can be booked at an extra 50% of the original booking fee – subject to availability.
